Launching the ducks

While visiting my New England friends in October, I saw these handsome decoys in a Maine antique store.  They were stuck in a crowded bin just begging for a better place.  In a flash, I knew this is what the pond needed since it doesn't attract ducks naturally.  The neighbors might think it's crazy, but these ducks are perfect!

They were tested out in the fountain first.   Just in case they filled with water and went belly up, they'd be rescued easily.  They did great and have been floating properly for over a month.  Now, it's time to launch them!
