Place to Go, People to See...

Greetings from Savannah, Georgia.

We came for a short weekend to visit my son, future daughter-in-law, and... meet her wonderful mother, Arlene.

We took a lovely tour of this park.

We enjoyed the monuments, the trees, the flowers.

Apparently, this fountain is a popular wedding hot spot.

Wedding #1) small

Wedding #2) medium

Wedding #3) large
(All occurring at the same time)

Then we exited the park to take a walk through some of the streets.

I love the way this wall is covered by a living vine.
I love this look.

We stumbled upon a secret garden.

Discovered some charming business vignettes.

Along with charming ideas for the entrance to a home.

We went to an outdoor restaurant on this inlet.

It's where these two had their first date.

And a beautiful love was born.

This is where they plan to marry.
A different garden location.  More private, more intimate.
I can't wait.

Time to get in shape
