The Last Graduation...

This weekend we celebrated our "baby's" graduation from High School.
It was a great weekend.  Full of family and lots of fun.

We started off the day with a cookout at home.
To prepare for the party, Colson showed Grandma some moves.

"So, Grasshoppa. You must learn to seek way of balance and peace."

It was the perfect day to be outside.  Enjoying the weather and each other.
It was also the first time our niece met our future daughter in law.

And true to form, when two or more sons are together, out come the Lacrosse sticks.
My sister couldn't resist giving the game a try.

She's not afraid to do anything.
Like singing a solo rendition of 'Happy Graduation'.
To the tune of 'Happy Birthday',
Marilyn Monroe style.

Or attempting a yoga pose.
Sitting cross legged on the floor, lifting her entire body weight up on her arms and swinging back and forth.
Yep, she tried that!
It's no wonder she was pretty good at catching the Lacrosse ball.

Yep, it was great being together.

To celebrate the achievement of this child, kid, son.

I'm so grateful to have a supportive family.

And a sweet son.

Congratulations, Colson.

 So proud on
Whippoorwill Road,
Bernadine

  2. Congrats to your son, the time does fly by. My daughter finished Pre K and is going to kindergarten in August. I was kind of emotional about that, I can't imagine what going off to college will be like.

I know I said it already but that is one good looking rock wall.
